Do "ion detox machine" (the kind of foot bath really work)?
Frankly, this is the first time I came across this Word, ion detox machine. Does it work? I checked the Internet, what is the machine and it works by running an electric current in some bath in which your Feet. Supposedly ions (electrically charged particles such as natural Na +, Cl-, etc) will bind toxins into your feet and then they move out, somehow. I'm answering this question by simple logical thinking and gut feeling. And my answer is a full-hearted NO! Why? First, the health hype, and sell the people the best that ever invented fake Second some money from the hype., people are no sewage pipes, and not leave their feet. Having, said that "toxins" is a very large group of molecules. Toxins come in many different sizes, shapes, toxic meachanisms, solubility and / Electric charge (if any). Ion is bound, not to all poisons. In addition, toxins stored in fatty tissue in the human body (such as certain pesticides to find), or accumulate in the liver or elsewhere. It certainly does not go all these toxins through the skin and get your feet. While there are some of their toxins, the skin are able to happen, most do not just like that. I would say this is an interesting marketing gimmick, and not more than that. Might as well believe that people eat shit from their mouths and out of their assholes, like in South Park. Funny though, yes.
