Fish Oil vs Flax Seed Oil?
What oil is more beneficial to the body? I currently take fish oil supplements, and when the bottle runs out, I turn it and buy flax seed oil.
I prefer fish oil as an Omega-3 just as human beings and we need double the amount of omega-3 in our bodies to omaga 6th Linseed oil is Omega 3 and 6 together. Most people have too much omega 6 are already in their diet than most vegetable / olive / sunflower oil etc Omega-6. So by taking a fish oil supplement can youre omega-3 levels increase. I always choose a variety of ultra clean thats for Mercury / PCB 's / dioxins and one with a high EPA / DHA levels was tested. A lot cheaper fish oils usually have a 180 on one of epa dha 120. I spend a bit more on my fish oils and you get a 300 with an EPA and 200 DHA. Fish oils have a better effect on memory and concentation as linseed oil because of its DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) is beneficial to the joints and is an effective anti-inflammatory. The EPA / DHA levels must always be listed on the bottle and benefits of taking a higher quality fish oil is, you can take less. Linseed oil is also useful as anti immflamatory, but I prefer fish. With regular fish oil you need at least 6 per day. 2 AM 2 lunch and 2 in the Clock After a month this is all lit up, I've stopped using moisturizer. Sorry Anyway, all technical I have a health food store and we sell loads of supplements and its my job to filter through all of these and research them. Good luck!
