What is a good food to feed my cat 13 years old?
He eats only canned food.
Have you eaten NUTRIENCE main formula for about two years. The ingredients are: chicken breweries, chicken broth, chicken liver, oceanfish, brown rice, dried yeast, sunflower oil, guar gum, carrageenan gum, dried kelp, potassium chloride, choline chloride, calcium carbonate, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), Glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, rosemary extract, thyme, taurine, vitamin A acetate, vitamin D3, vitamin E, niacin, zinc proteinate, zinc sulfate, yucca schidigera extract, iron proteinate sulfate, sulfate, manganese proteinate, manganese, copper proteinate, copper sulfate, calcium pantothenate, thiamine mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, folic acid, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (source of Vitamin K), selenite sodium biotin, vitamin B12 supplement. I'm trying to decide between Innova Reduced Fat, and the formula of high Felidae. What do you think is better?
I do not think your cat needs a "high level" formula. I am 17, 16 and 13 years and cats who eat a number of different varieties, plus a raw meat diet and I am preparing a dinner for all days. I can use natural balance Avoderm licking the chops, variety instinct nature (the latter two for the protein of lamb) and CA Natural Evang. They do not like Felidae, Merrick, Newman. I like raw meat better for them. I do not know all that guar gum, rice, fish meal, meat raw ground beef is just so right with a supplement of calcium, B vitamins and oil salmon. I use the liver and heart of chicken and turkey also organic – Extra taurine and vitamin A.
