Many supplements Food has been created with the kava in the Western world and some of them were reported to develop liver damage.

A also confirmed that all the people who use supplements Kava is also used in combination with other drugs and alcohol. This does not allow what has caused the liver problem.

Another factor was that the European food supplement producers also used elsewhere in the root of the kava plant which could have negative effects, which was probably the reason for the ban kava in Europe in 2001.

Union EU lifted the ban in November 2008 because of the scientific examination of facts.
