kelp supplements
Has anyone ever used kelp as a supplement for hypothyroidism? If so, does it work for you?

I have not used kelp for me, but as a certified consultant herbal I have seen many clients successfully using for Kelp hypothyroidism, and it because Kelp is an excellent source of iodine (which is essentially food for your thyroid and is a mineral of very construction of the thyroid). If will try to take another route to help the under active thyroid, I suggest you find a good combination that kelp, black walnut (another great source of iodine), or perhaps a combination that has pre-cursors to the active hormone of the thyroid. Overall, I really think you should give kelp or a good herbal formula a chance (to use at least 1-2 months and permanently at the recommended dose) before consider supplementing with hormones thyroid, because it is so difficult to get out of thyroid hormones when you have them.
