Hematite jewelry?
I have a bracelet bought magnetic, hematite and now I try to find more information about the stone. It is a bit difficult to find a line of response. When magnetized hematite is artificial (as far as I understood) and in nature it is not magnetic or very weak magnetic property, for how long the magnetism will last? It can not last forever. Unfortunately I did not ask the seller at the time. Who knows?
The magnetism will not go away, unless, like the other writer said, you have to heat the drops, or run it through a demagnetizers. One way to discuss it is of the opinion that the process of magentization the iron particles depends on the stone so that it aligned the same direction (with their individual north-south pole up) lined. It is not like a battery is charged. Unless something happens, Scramble, the particles again remain the magnetization.
