Is there any way for commercial Radio airtime without getting a major label contract? If you have achieved, how did you do that? I know there are a lot of artist promotion Companies out there and most of their packages, commercial radio or TV are start at about 25K. I think there must be another way for good bands, the attention of Media that they deserve without having to sell a kidney or to get on during a strip show, arrested LOL! To be honest, indie bands can really compete with the major label Mega-buck advertising power and grid-lock compete control of commercial radio? Ever, the attention of a major label, the only way a band can really successful? As much money you invest each month and on the success of your band, what are you getting back from gigs, CD sales and royalties from digital download providers? Are your fans pay to play music or pay to hear your fans to your music, LOL! Let us hear what is on your mind!
Contact the Program Manager from your favorite radio station and make an appointment to discuss your band. Tell him you make it worth his time. Quiet offer him some money to give you airplay when They meet face to face. Back in 1980, will cost about $ 1,000 in Miami. I'm not in the biz since then but you can be sure there is at least $ 3,000 to In today's market. If the public likes your music then this means that they continue to play for the sake of advertising. Try it out, is that money talks and BS my friend.
