What type of wine is best for you?

I have heard that certain types of red wines contain many antioxidants. What type generally most. I also heard of a type of Sardinia, which has almost three times more than any other known red wine. Thank you

Cabernet Sauvignon has more antioxidants, called flavonoids, followed closely by Petit Syrah and Pinot Black. The Merlots and Zinfandels have less red flavonoids. White wine had significantly smaller quantities than red wine varieties. The bottom line is the sweetest of wine, the fewer the flavonoids. Dryer red wines are your best bet for a flavonoid boost.
