I wrote something in English. Could you check?
I am a student learning English. I am supposed to have my English teacher who is a Canadian citizen to dine. I wrote a few sentences of introduction of foods that I do for him. Could you check if there are errors? (Including the sentences above) This is pork poached in soy sauce, wine and lemon extract and I baked oven. This is the red shrimp. This is not a traditional Korean dish. It is a bit of fusion cuisine. Personally I love it. It is made of ketchup, powdered red pepper and a variety of vegetables. He is sweet and slightly spicy. Originally, I use more red pepper, but I heard you do not like spicy one, so this time I'm not so hot. This is the beef broth. By becoming tired or down by the cold, we eat because we believe he can give us a lot of energy and make the immune system stronger. Thank you in advance.
If Please Note: It is the American English and then there's the British English. When you ask somebody .. especially if you're Canadiens a check in English you really need to indicate which country you want to verify because there are many differences. I am an American and I'll check with American English, but a Brit should really check if you are Canadian. Line 3 above: I wrote a few sentences to introduce him the food I made. This is the best way of saying things. Line 4 above: Dimensions (vs. might), you check for errors? or you can write that way too: Would you check to see if I made mistakes? Would we request help or advice. Could just wonder if is a possibility to get all the help and is not the most proper way to use it in the sentence. Line 1 below: This Pig poached in a soy sauce with wine and lemon extract that I cooked in the oven. Line 2 below: That Chile Shrimp. Not a traditional Korean dish. It is a kind of fusion food. (A bit is not a word and use the genre is wrong) Personally, I like it. It is made of ketchup, chili powder and a variety of vegetables. It is sweet and a little spicy at the same time. (Originally only implies that you used it the first time to better put it that way ….) I usually use more pepper red, but I heard that you do not like spicy food so I did not so hot yet. vs (made do since you've prepared dish. If you do use, you must use will or might or could with the word that he will this time is not yet done so.) Line 3, below: This beef broth. When we are tired or coming down with a cold we tend to eat because we think it can give us a lot of energy and make the immune system stronger. (The future is in correct English in this sentence.) Also, you put commas in places inapproprite. No comma is needed in a continuous train of thought. In addition, you need to get the name of your dishes. They are proper names. Hope that helps. Teach American English to elementary school students and it was a great college for me. .
