Smoothie Heaven-9 things you can hide in a smoothie

Smoothies are gaining ground as a choice of breakfast or a meal after training, in the health-conscious crowd, and for good reason too! You can literally get all your fruits and vegetables in the requirements for the day, in one meals. I was whipping delicious breakfast smoothies and nutritious snack for my family for several years now. Here are some tips on how to get the biggest bang for your nutritional meal.

First, though, if you're new smoothie, you need to know some smoothie bases for decision. When you first read the "how to" smoothie that looks like a time-risk drinking, but you really less time than making pancakes or eggs and toast. A little planning and you're on your way to a quick meal that is super good for you, and taste is amazing.

My smoothies always start with a fruit. I prefer berries because they have a strong flavor that can hide some of my less palatable ingredients. I use about a half-cup of mixed berries for each portion. Then I need some kind of liquid. I chose the carrot juice, because it is loaded with vitamins good for me, and it is naturally sweet I will not need to add sweeteners. Of course, you'll need a mixer.

Here are nine things you can hide in your smoothie.

  1. Vegetables and vegetable juice, celery, cucumber juice and wheat grass (if you have a juicer) and a handful of baby spinach If you do not.
  2. Protein-high quality whey protein is a good choice, but I also use tofu or soy milk.
  3. Other fruit, kiwi, banana, pear, pineapple, blueberries, mango, … you name, everything is great for red fruits in a smoothie, and outside of the pineapple or the other Fruit I said take the edge off the acidity of the berries.
  4. Fruit and vegetable powder, I like to Super Charge Nutrition of my smoothie by getting as much fruit and vegetables as possible. This can be done easily using fruit powders like camu camu (vitamin C), acai (resveretrol) "Green" mixture etc. Visit your local health food store, or search the Internet to buy super dehydrated fruit powders.
  5. Adaptogens, some of you may not have heard of adaptogens. They are essentially plants that were found to have a balancing effect on the body. Adaptogens are also considered as "tonics," and they have multiple beneficial uses for the body. Some adaptogens which are very well because you're ginger, ginseng, astragalus and Ashwagandha. A grocery store or a good natural herbal have some of these sub powder.
  6. Aloe Vera Aloe is an ancient herb. It contains polysaccharides that our body can use to stimulate immunity and heal. Get a quality aloe vera juice. Make sure to get an aloe nutrition, and not a topical issue, such as aloe products not intended from ingestion can be filled with chemicals and preservatives you can not feel like eating.
  7. Health of fatty acids, omega-3 are essential for health, but sorely lacking in our modern diet. Decline in cod liver oil, EFA blend, half a lawyer or a little olive oil.
  8. Green tea-Green tea is becoming one of the super foods of the decade. Brimming with good for you antioxidants and polyphenols in green tea has been shown to reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease, inflammation and the list goes on. Try a powdered green tea called matcha to food super high.
  9. Yogurt or kefir, contain probiotics that are good for your belly and strengthen your immune system. They also add a creamy flavor to your smoothie.

Put all the dry ingredients and dry in your blender, then add the carrot juice until just covering the top of the berries. Mix on low speed until that it is easy to mix, then the highest speed. Add soy milk, juice, pomegranate juice or carrot puree than you, good consistency.

Pour into glasses and enjoy as a super nutritious and delicious way to start your day.
