Too Much Fish Oil
Posted on 26 May 2010

I have hight bp. Doctor told me to start takining Fish Oil caps but do not say how much.?
I am an old woman, 59yr high blood pressure, the controlled. My doctor said I should do, fish oil caps. but he would not say what dose or how many times a day. I bought yesterday. They are 1000mg each and he says take 3 times a day. If this dose is too high? Or will it be with 2 times a day better?
Overdose of omega-3 is a really hard to do what, so no worries. In Indeed, some conditions are necessary for relatively high doses of the benefits of fish oil to kick in at all. Most doctors would say you should always 1000mg see EPA and DHA per (they are the source of fish oil power) every day, so how much your capsules contain and figure it out from there. Good luck!
