Rice receives Defense Threat Reduction Agency grant to develop a genomic test for pathogens developed Researchers at Rice University have won federal support to develop a genomic test that can quickly determine if a disease outbreak was caused by a natural pathogen or one that has grown in a lab by terrorists.
